Yesterday I interviewed Simcha Breslow of Bubby’s Bagels. His grandmother actually had the Maiden name of Beigel.

He was a student at Yeshiva and his mentor was Yirsoeli Portowitz, also of Bubby’s Bagels. Now mentor and student are partners on bring New York style Bagels to Toronto.

A New York Style Bagel is first boiled in steaming hot water, then rolled, spiced and topped and the baked to perfection.
Bubby’s Bagels is a clean and bright place to eat yummy treats. Bubby’s Bagels features iced coffee and other flavored ice. Bubby’s Bagels offers a fresh selection of vegetable toppings for your bagel.

Bubby’s Bagels has grilled panini sandwiches, grilled bagels and bialies, which is like a minitiaure 🍕 pizza, with fried onions, less the cheese. But I’d purchased onsite can be topped with hot cheese.
